This was taken the night after Thanksgiving. I wondered outside and immediately ran back in to grab my camera. It took a little bit of playing with the settings and finding a good sturdy tree to rest the camera on since I didn’t have a tripod on me at the time. Eventually though I was able to come up with this shot.

My wife actually took this one. That’s me in the canoe.  The little guy you see in the corner there is our dog Sam. When he saw me out on the lake he jumped off the dock and began chasing me across the lake. It was by far the furthest he had ever swam, I had to quickly turn the canoe around to go rescue him.

What a day! Rain, Snow and Hail all on the same day. Jeff and Sarah were such good sports about it all and pulled off a beautiful wedding in spite of it all. It made for some gorgeous photo’s and a wedding not soon forgotten.
